Jamie Hardy-Besaw is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at the University of Cincinnati. Working under the mentorship of Dr. Farrah Jaquez, she has a focus in working with refugee and immigrant populations. Born under a Honduran immigrant mother, she speaks Spanish and understands the complexities of life for Latin American immigrants in the United States. Her dedication to working with refugees and immigrants started in Columbus, OH working with refugee resettlement organizations and working as an ESL instructor.
